Paul joined Bridgehaven in January 2024 as Chief Underwriting Officer from Intact Insurance Group where he served as Head of International Specialty UK & Europe.
Prior to this, Paul served as Chief Underwriting Officer of RSA’s UK and International businesses and Chief Executive of Geo Underwriting following over three decades of experience in the Lloyd’s and International Insurance Markets.
Paul was named CEO and Executive Director of Bridgehaven Insurance in January 2023, the UK’s first Hybrid Fronting insurer.
Prior to joining Bridgehaven, Paul was CEO of Best Doctors Insurance (Bermuda) and Surestone (Re)Insurance (Bermuda & Ireland). Paul is an experienced Underwriter having held a number of CUO roles for AIG and Ardonagh Group, formerly Towergate.
Andrew joined Bridgehaven in November 2023 as Reinsurance Placement Officer.
Andrew has over 30 years’ experience in the (re)insurance market as a Broker and a Reinsurance Manager responsible for structuring, negotiation and placements of all forms of reinsurance business into the global market.
His experience ranges across all non-life classes of business analysing and securing capacity for MGAs, Captives, Lloyd’s Syndicates, and Global and Multi-National Companies.
Jamie joined Bridgehaven in September 2025 as Head of Underwriting Strategy. He has over 35 years’ underwriting experience, with more than 20 of these in underwriting and reinsurance leadership roles.
He leads strategic initiatives across the classes of business insured and reinsured by Bridgehaven with a focus upon building out profitable and credible underwriting opportunities as the scale of the business grows in the UK, Europe and internationally. He also provides guidance and leadership on complex reinsurance placements.
Sarah joined Bridgehaven in October 2023 as Portfolio Underwriting Manager having previously worked at Aviva as Deputy Head of Management Liability.
Sarah has over two decades of experience in the Insurance market between London and Canada covering D&O, Liability, Marine, Oil & Gas and Financial & Professional Services.
Sarah holds a Law Degree, a post graduate Law Degree and is ACII and CIP qualified.
Clive joined Bridgehaven in December 2023 as Portfolio Underwriting Manager having previously worked at Lloyd’s as a Senior Syndicate Performance Manager.
He has extensive experience in Marine and Specialty lines of business which has been gained across both Lloyd’s and company markets.
Clive was formerly an Officer in the Royal Navy and holds a Degree in International Shipping and Maritime Law from the University of Plymouth.
